Well Dressing during Inspiring Derby Week

We created 4 well dressing during Inspiring Derby Week at Grove Lodge in the Derby Arboretum.
We worked with schools and community groups and the local community dropping in to help work on the designs.
The theme was the Derby Arboretum - the designer John Claudius Loudon, the community garden, the wildlife in the park and the park logo.
The well dressings were launched by Mayor of Derby, Cllr John Whitby and a blessing from Revd Dr Simon Cartwright.

Spiral @ RHS Chatsworth

We were most honoured to be invited to RHS Chatsworth to create a 'Have a Go' well dressing on the Sunday. We enjoyed the experience very much and we are hoping to go again next year.
Lots of interesting conversations with the public, lots of laughter in our star tent and at the end of the day a beautiful well dressing which we displayed in Grove Lodge back in the Derby Arboretum.

We were the star tent on the right!

Derby Well Dressing around the Cathedral Quarter

We spent a week based in QUAD to create 6 well dressings with schools, community groups and at drop-in sessions with adults.
The theme celebrated 40 years of Derby being a city and depicted images of shops from years ago, local statues, the Kings Hall, The Baseball Ground and the Queen visiting Derby in 1977.
The well dressings were exhibited around the Cathedral Quarter at QUAD, Deda, the local studies library, the Central Library, Derby Cathedral and the Sales and Information Centre.
