We have been working with Sahaly once a month, and have created some great artwork. They are such a lovely group to work with, we enjoy their singing and chatting and hospitality (lovely lunches).

We used beads and rollers and objects to press shapes into the clay.

We created lanterns using pressed leaves and flowers between layers of tissue paper.

We created Japanese Shibori designs onto fabric using string, beads and elastic bands.

We used fleece to create felted pebbles, flowers and sheep.

The ladies created beautiful bags using fabrics, beads, and bondaweb.

For our 3rd workshop we created Mosaics using glass tiles, shells, ceramic pieces, broken plates and shiny beads.

We created batik hangings for the Winter Solstice celebration at the Erewash Museum.

Creative House Workshops
At our 2nd Creative House workshop we made unusual handmade paper infused with fleece, hessian threads, beetroot juice and skeleton leaves.
We had a great time at our first Creative House workshop in December. The theme was Festive Trees using batik inks and foldling fabrics to create fabulous patterns.
