Nature Spaces - September 2023

We have begun our September Nature Spaces workshops at Grove Lodge. We had a lovely group of people come to paint with watercolours and then when the paintings were dry we sewed into them with embroidery threads. They did look good.

Arts Desire Exhibition - Ilkeston Hospital

We have recently installed an art exhibition of work at Ilkeston Hospital of our Arts Desire Project. We created this artwork with members of Flamsteed Dementia Day Centre and the Creative Arts Project in Ilkeston. You can see we had a lot of fun in the sessions.

Lightzone Holiday Club - Aug 2023

We were asked to deliver 4 weeks of art activities with children attending the Lightzone Holiday Club at Boulton Lane Community Centre in Allenton.

It was a full on summer, we chose 4 artists to focus on with a summertime theme. Keith Haring, Yayoi Kusama, Henri Matisse and Calvin Siebert.

Peartree Holiday Club - August 2023

We spent a couple of days working with around 180 children from every year group to make mobiles. The theme was Our Amazing World, and we had to think about what they could do to make the world amazing to be in. The project was funded by Community One and Derby City Council.
