We had a very industrious workshop this afternoon with a nice group of creative people.
We brought lots of different types of papers - wrapping paper, wallpaper, decorative serviettes, coloured paper, handmade paper, and marbled paper. We demonstrated how to bind the papers together using a technique called "Japanese stab stitch" which gives a good strong finish. We also drank tea and had a good chat about Derby's cinema's and dance halls of yesteryear.
