We had a lovely hot day at Breadsall Primary School creating a well dressing.
We worked with all the children outside under a shady gazebo, and throughout the day we were visited by the Rector Rev Alison Maddocks and many of the teaching staff who also had a go.
The Breadsall Parish Council, who funded the project for the village, came along and were very pleased with the final design.
The children were asked to sketch some designs for the well dressing and Spiral Arts created the final image using Kevin the Peacock as the centrepiece as he is such a big part of village life.
The well dressing is on display this week outside the village shop. We hope Kevin likes his portrait.
A big thank you to all the children, staff and parish council members for asking us to do the project.
