Winter Gathering - Derby Arboretum

We celebrated a Winter Gathering at Derby Arboretum on 22 December. It was well attended with performances from the Rebel Women's Choir, Alan Squires musicians, crafts stalls, refreshments and even Santa visiting. The wildlife area was decorated with leaf bunting and lights.

P3 Sessions - Wednesday Wellbeing

We have been working with P3 at Erewash Museum creating great artwork.
Star Lanterns, Shibori Bags and Hula hoop weaving bowls.

 

  

Winter Gathering

We ran a series of workshop to create decorations for the Winter Gathering event on 22 December.
We worked with Derby College ESOL groups, Surestart Rosehill, Rosehill Infant School Stay and Play, Sahaly Women's Group, Madeley Youth Group & Derby Women's Centre Knit & Knatter. 
We created dream catchers, leaf bunting and foil hangings.
The wildlife area looked great.

Luminate Lanterns & Festival

We had 2 busy sessions making lanterns for our Luminate Festival working in the Heart of the Park at the Derby Arboretum. 
The festival was spectacular with Morris dancing and music, and around 200 people attending. 
Also some fantastic light installations from local artists. 
A great evening of on the park.

BlendED project

This project is almost coming to an end, we have worked with 2 youth groups in Heanor and Ripley for 9 months, creating artwork to sell at different markets for Christmas presents.
We held one stall at Heanor Market recently, it went very well and the artwork received a lot of attention.
