Past Present Future - Cyanotypes @ Erewash Museum

The artists worked with Derbyshire Carers Association to create their own cyanotypes on tote bags. There used keys, cogs, foliage and lace. They looked great.

Past Present Future - Erewash Museum - Shine Bright Night

We are getting ready for a Shine Bright Night Lantern Event in February next year. We have already made lanterns with the YMCA Ilkeston group and we will work with many more groups in the next couple of months, creating wonderful lanterns for the event.

This is part of the Past Present Future Project funded by ACE.

Past Present Future - Erewash Museum Craftmas Fair

We created willow stars at the Craftmas Fair at Erewash Museum. Even though it was a cold night, luckily we had plenty of visitors come into the barn to take part.

This is part of the Past Present Future Project funded by the Arts Council.

Past Present Future - Erewash Museum - Pentrich Revolution

We have been working on a new project with Erewash Museum delivering workshops in Ilkeston and Long Eaton.

The first project started in September with the Pentrich Revolution Commemoration, we worked with YMCA students to create placards about 'What Matters to You' as well as schools getting involved to create mini protesters images. The event went off well with a good display of artwork.

The project is funded by the Arts Council.

Music Festival - Erewash Museum

We held workshops for 2 days at Erewash Museum for their fabulous Music Festival. We have a busy time making balloon drums, bell shakers and bottle shakers. It was lovely meeting the children from Brackenfield School and adults from the Space Inclusive on Friday and the many families who participated on Saturday.

Wednesday Wellbeing - Exhibition

We were very pleased to hold an exhibition of all the Wednesday Wellbeing workshops, created with the P3 group and local people from the Erewash area at the beginning of March. The exhibition took place at the Hayloft Gallery in Erewash Museum, and was attended by the Mayor, Councillor Sue Beardsley and her husband John. It was a very enjoyable event with the members and their families coming to view the work.
The project was funded by Erewash CVS 5 Ways to Wellbeing.
