Last week, Spiral Artist Jenny facilitated an engaging session inspired by Becky Beasley's exhibition at QUAD - Derby in collaboration with Mandy, Quad's Education Coordinator. Together, they guided young participants in crafting their own motorised mobiles, exploring, drawing, cutting, shape-making, and wire-twisting. The resulting movement and sounds were truly captivating.
We loved delivering creative activities with adults for wellbeing over the last few months.
We made all manner of activities such as Paper Butterflies, Watercolour Flowers, Felt Birds, Woven bookmarks, Mono printing, and Coffee Filter Flower mobiles.
The project was kindly funded by Foundation Derbyshire - The Walbrook Fund.
It was great to be part of the Baton of Hope Tour 25 - Derby and Derbyshire at Darley Park today.

We spent a couple of days working with around 180 children from every year group to make mobiles. The theme was Our Amazing World, and we had to think about what they could do to make the world amazing to be in. The project was funded by Community One and Derby City Council.
