International Women's Day March 2025

We led a wonderful procession through Derby City Centre with the Butterfly Banner we had created over the last 2 months. The women also carried placards that we had created a few years ago. It was a well attended event for the city and for women. 

Saturday Art Club - Museum of Making

Jenny worked with young adults to create their own paper at the Museum of Making in March. 

We used eggboxes torn into pieces and blended them to form a pulp, the eggboxes were all different colours, they added wools and threads and seeds.

Textiles Workshop at Museum of Making

We delivered a session for families at the Museum of Making in February working on batik designs.

This was a very nice session and some lovely work. 

Willow Stars @ ASSEMBLE

We delivered a very busy workshop at the ASSEMBLE event at the Museum of Making. We almost ran out of willow, at least 175 stars were made with families, well done Spiral Artists !!

Hedgehog Prickles @ DWT Event

The Spiral Artists spent the day working with families on Cathedral Green for the Derbyshire Wildlife Trust's event. Lots of prickles and mini hedgehogs were created during the day. They were kept very busy.
