Butterfly Banner for International Women's Day Project

We delivered a 2 month project to work with women and girls on a large banner for INternational Women's Day Event in Derby. We worked with Derby College students, young women with learning disabilities, women at drop in sessions at Derby Women's Centre and women at a wellbeing group. 

The women were asked for their experiences of women's health in Derby and they all completed a questionnaire which will be used to improve health services in Derby.

The project was funded by the NHS Women's Health Hub Grant.

Nature Space - Sept-Oct

We delivered different activities in Sept and Oct for the Nature Spaces project such as batik painting, pin cushions, wooden coasters and coil fabric bowls. 

Nature Spaces July 2024

We continued working on our Nature Spaces sessions in July, we created embroidered felt decorations, lino printing, resin jewellery and tin milagros. 

We enjoyed learning all these new exciting crafts. 

These sessions were funded by the DHIP Grant.

 

Nature Spaces June 2024

Our Nature Spaces Project - Art @ the Park, we created collage, twig weaving, cyanotypes, well dressing and a tree of life.
