Long Eaton Self Help Group - Well Dressings

Spiral Artists, Kate and Jenny were excited to be back working with the Long Eaton Self Help Group for a one off session creating mini well dressings.

The members of group were eager to get started. They chose shapes to peppercorn and used coloured gravels and chrysanthemum petals to make their lovely designs.

We hope it won't be too long before we are back again chatting and laughing with the group and making some wonderful artwork!!

Create Space @ Long Eaton

At our last session Create Space workshop with the Long Eaton Peer Support Group we created bottle flowers painted with acrylics. 

They looked amazing.

The project was kindly funded by the Public Health Covid 19 Grant.

We worked with the Long Eaton Self Help Group to create stunning batik designs in April. 

Cardboard Model Village of Erewash

Our March and April project for Erewash Museum was creating cardboard models of the buildings in Ilkeston and Long Eaton. We worked with Long Eaton Self Help Group and Flamsteed Day Care to create our favourite buildings and then delivered 2 drop in sessions for families to make more. The work will be exhibited in the museum.
