We have been working on a new project with Erewash Museum delivering workshops in Ilkeston and Long Eaton.
The first project started in September with the Pentrich Revolution Commemoration, we worked with YMCA students to create placards about 'What Matters to You' as well as schools getting involved to create mini protesters images. The event went off well with a good display of artwork.
The project is funded by the Arts Council.
Another great festival in the Arboretum was held in September to celebrate the park's anniversary - Lark in the Park in partnership with the Derby Peace Concert.
The Spiral artists created Peace Rosettes with families.

We have begun our September Nature Spaces workshops at Grove Lodge. We had a lovely group of people come to paint with watercolours and then when the paintings were dry we sewed into them with embroidery threads. They did look good.
