Since January we have been very busy working with Dementia groups in Erewash at Bramble Lodge Residential Home, Midway Day Hospital and Flamsteed Day Centre. We are working creativity with people with dementia and giving them opportunities to experience a wide variety of tactile and sensory artforms. Here are some of the images
We had a lovely time working with visitors to the International Women's Day in Derby Market Place at the beginning of March. We created collaged bunting and beautiful Mother's Day cards with nearly 100 participants. We also had a lovely display of the work we have recently completed with the ladies at Guru Nanak Istri Sabha at the Indian Community Centre. We were pleased to share the stall with the Listen Love Learn parents group from Quad.
Here are some images of the printed tea towel workshop we delivered with the Creating Together group.
We had a great display of their work at International Women's Day in Derby Market Place. We had lots of lovely comments from participants who took part in making bunting and mother's day cards. Members of the group joined us at the event too to see their work on display.
We had a lovely time working with the Goldsquad ladies creating Easter gift bags. We used brown paper collaged with coloured tissue and decorated with printed stamp blocks. They all looked great, a handmade gift for Easter.
