We had a lovely hot day at Breadsall Primary School creating a well dressing.
We worked with all the children outside under a shady gazebo, and throughout the day we were visited by the Rector Rev Alison Maddocks and many of the teaching staff who also had a go.
The Breadsall Parish Council, who funded the project for the village, came along and were very pleased with the final design.
The children were asked to sketch some designs for the well dressing and Spiral Arts created the final image using Kevin the Peacock as the centrepiece as he is such a big part of village life.
The well dressing is on display this week outside the village shop. We hope Kevin likes his portrait.
A big thank you to all the children, staff and parish council members for asking us to do the project.

Tiling at Pear Tree Infants
The Reception and Year 1 classes at Pear Tree Infants School have been busy creating a mosaic for their school.
We hope to have it put up before the end of term.
Have a look at what they have been doing.

Welcome in the Redhills
At the beginning of July we spent a few days at Redhill Primary School in Ockbrook creating a beautiful mosaic. The Year 6 children will be moving up to secondary schools soon, so it was a lovely way to leave something special at their school before they begin their next adventure.
We always get a wonderful 'Welcome' when we come to work at Redhill Primary, thank you to all the teaching staff and children.

Roundhill Multicultural Festival
We are always pleased to be asked to attend this fantastic event. Once again we provided a participatory activity in the form of a Well dressing.
There were some very keen helpers who made sure we finished in time to take it over to the Beeston library, where it was displayed in the gallery space upstairs.
