Lawns Primary School - Environment Project

We were asked to work at Lawns Primary School in June on a Sustainability Project with Year 6 and Year 3 students.

We decided to reuse different plastics to create a window hanging and to highlight how we can help the planet, how we can look after nature, people and animals and what actions we could take to help make it a better world to live in.
The students came up with great ideas about saving water, recycling, reusing, stopping pollution and cycling to school. We used old plastic bags, party banners, net bags for fruit and bubblewrap to create our wonderful window hanging. These were ironed together and looked fabulous hung up.
We are sure they will look great around the school.
