The big lanterns we made with the 3 schools last year last year were on display last weekend at the "Arty Party" as part of Derby Museum and Art Gallery's celebration of the opening of the Joseph Wright gallery which now displays a bigger collection of his paintings and sketches. It is well worth a visit !

Birds, boxes and bunting at the Arboretum

We ran 2 x half term family workshops in the Heart of the Park at the arboretum in Derby. We went paper crazy and made all these wonderful things and everyone was very happy :)

We have a great time in Swadlincote at the Green Bank Leisure Centre.
We created an Olympic Weaving Rings with participants and had our photo in the Burton Mail!

Creative House Workshops

The next Creative House workshop is

THURSDAY 23 FEB 1pm-3pm - MOSAIC MIRRORS

Come along and create a mirror fit to seen in!
Paint, print, collage onto a deep wooden frame mirror.
Embellish with buttons, shells, glass nuggets and other 'treasures'.

£10 per person includes, all materials, techniques, chat and refreshments.

Workshops at The Friends Meeting House

After a successful pre Christmas workshop we are running 4 more sessions at the Friends Meeting House, Derby.

It was a very nice venue easily accessible with on street parking outside (metered, but reasonable). We have use of the kitchen and can make teas ,coffees and hot chocolate and we always bring nice biscuits - essential details for a successful session.
