Family Art Club - January 2025

We received funding from Derby City Council to run a Family Art Day in January in the school holidays.

It was a well attended day with a lovely hot healthy meal at lunchtime. Everyone had a fun time. 

Nature Space - Sept-Oct

We delivered different activities in Sept and Oct for the Nature Spaces project such as batik painting, pin cushions, wooden coasters and coil fabric bowls. 

Luminate Lantern - School Sessions

We worked with 4 schools in October to create lanterns for our Luminate Lantern Festival in November. We had a sticky time with all the lovely school children, the lanterns looked fabulous.

Move Me Project

I was asked to deliver a workshop at the Osmaston Family Hub with early years children and their parents/carers. I created a butterfly theme of drawing round giant butterflies and making their own to run around with. Everyone had a lovely time.

Zines @ Derby Libraries

We had 2 lovely workshops at Riverside and Mickleover Libraries working with families to create their own zines. We had some great designs and stories, we used magazine, leaflets, and drawings. Everything from pandas to minecraft.
