Winter Gathering - Derby Arboretum

We celebrated a Winter Gathering at Derby Arboretum on 22 December. It was well attended with performances from the Rebel Women's Choir, Alan Squires musicians, crafts stalls, refreshments and even Santa visiting. The wildlife area was decorated with leaf bunting and lights.

Project Arboretum with Radio Derby

We were involved with the Radio Derby project to revamp the Wildlife Area in Derby Arboretum.
The team spent a week working on the area, digging, planting and making an area for groups to sit under a canopy.
It was a very busy but fun project to be involved in, we created tie dye bunting to decorate the area.

Bird feeders at Madeley New Arrivals Group

We went to work with the young people who meet at Madeley Youth Centre, creating bird feeders using bird seed and melted fat. It was a messy workshop but everyone enjoyed making the feeders. Hope the birds had a good time!
