BlendED project

This project is almost coming to an end, we have worked with 2 youth groups in Heanor and Ripley for 9 months, creating artwork to sell at different markets for Christmas presents.
We held one stall at Heanor Market recently, it went very well and the artwork received a lot of attention.

Blend Youth Projects

We have been working on a design and enterprise project working with 2 youth groups, in Ripley and Heanor to create artwork to sell later in the year.

Bird feeders at Madeley New Arrivals Group

We went to work with the young people who meet at Madeley Youth Centre, creating bird feeders using bird seed and melted fat. It was a messy workshop but everyone enjoyed making the feeders. Hope the birds had a good time!

Spin Art @ Madeley Youth

We created some great designs using a salad spinner and paint with the Madeley Youth Group. The young people enjoyed spinning as fast as they could go.

January Projects

We had a good start to the new year continuing to work with Harold Court Sheltered Scheme and Madeley Youth Group.
We created identity rings, printed bags and no-sew bags.

Foil Decorations @ Madeley

We created a wonderful christmas tree for the Madeley Youth Centre, covered with shiny decorations using foil, string and marker pens.

Lantern Making in half term

We had a busy half term week working with Madeley Youth Group, the ladies at Goldsquad and 2 days of open workshops making lanterns for the LUMINATE lantern festival in the Derby Arboretum.
The week finished at the Derby Mini Makers Faire at Derby Silk Mill Museum. We worked with 130 children to create the LUMINATE banner, phew!!
