At our 3rd session we created mosaics using glass beads, mosaic tiles, ceramic tiles onto wooden cutout shapes with tile grout.

We have started another series of workshops at Middle Street in Beeston.

Chinese New Year @ Erewash Museum
We spent the whole week working with schools around Ilkeston to create Chinese Dog Puppets and Chinese lanterns to celebrate the Chinese New Year.

On the day of the procession we had around 150 people come and make cylinder lanterns in the Hayloft at Erewash Museum, it was busy phew!!

The lanterns looked amazing in the procession and tiger puppet gave a great performance in the market place

Printed Bags @ Sahaly
At the end of January we began working with a new group, the Sahaly Women's Group in Normanton.
In the first sessions we created printed, stencilled fabric bags, everyone had a great time.

Beeston Memory Cafe
We spent an afternoon working with the people who come to the Beeston Memory Cafe at Middle Street Resource Centre.
We created hula hoop woven bowls with them, a very enjoyable session.

January Projects
We had a good start to the new year continuing to work with Harold Court Sheltered Scheme and Madeley Youth Group.
