It was great to work with so many women and girls to create these fabulous banners for the Artivism Trail around Derby Arboretum for International Women's Day 2021.

Create Delightful Daffodils

For our Love Arboretum month in February we have created a video showing you how to make wonderful daffodils to welcome the spring. Using thin coloured card, a glue stick and scissors. 

International Women's Day 2021 - Mini banners and Fabric Patches

We delivered 2 sessions at Quad for the GoldsQuad group to make banners and patches to celebrate International Women's Day 2021.

Create Festive Decorations

Create festive decorations to hang in your home during this winter festival time. Using cardboard, tissue paper, newspaper, tape, glue and some wire. Premiered on Friends of Derby Arboretum YouTube channel. 

Create Winter Houses

Here is our video to create Winter Houses in preparation for the winter months, it can be out on you windowsill with fairy light inside. Premiered on Friends of Derby Arboretum YouTube Channel.

 

DERWENT VALLEY MILLS CREATIVE ACTIVITIES

We created activities for the art boxes that Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage Site gave out to groups and families in Derbyshire. We were very pleased to be part of this project. The feedback is great too, so lovely to see people enjoying our creative ideas.

'Make a bottle lantern' video

Watch this video to create your own bottle lantern using an empty milk carton, some cellophane, tape and a tealight. Celebrate the Luminate Festival with us on Saturday 7 November, 5-7pm.
