Arty Social - with Derby College

We began working with students from Derby College from the Lexus Group, we discussed anti-social behaviour on the Arboretum and we created collages from magazine about this topic and how we should cherish the park.

Nature Spaces - March 2023

We were very pleased to receive funding to carry on our Nature Spaces Project this year from Erewash CVS and Derbyshire Mental Health Forum. This project is people who are social prescribed by their link workers.

We ran 3 sessions in March to create momigami sewing, botanical sewing and flora sculptures.

Inspiring Women Puppets

We worked with groups at the Insomnia Cafe in the Coop on Burton Road, Derby to create mini puppets of inspiring women for the International Women's Day Procession on 11 March.

Arts Desire

Our Arts Desire project in Ilkeston has been going wonderfully well with the lovely folk at Flamsteed Day Centre. Paper mache is the artform and we have made bowls, little trinket boxes, fishes and egg box animals.

Holiday Clubs over Christmas Holidays

We had a busy time with Lightzone holiday club between Christmas and New Year. Cardboard faces, clay faces and spinning art.

Peartree Holiday Club

We worked with Peartree Holiday Club children creating lanterns. We did have a good time.
